What I will be doing is to put Google Adsense in proper perspective and provide you with some tips from my experience.

1. It is contextual advertising. This means that whatever is the topic of your webpage, Google shall try to display ads related to your topic. You can block ads from your competitors.

2. It is also pay-per-click. When your visitor clicks on any ad, you will automatically earn.

3. If your purpose is web publishing, somebody must advertise for you to profit. But advertisers usually shy away from you as a newbie. They will be requiring visitor statistics that you still don't have. Google Adsense is the solution.

4. Not all ads pay the same. Therefore, the trick is to create topics that display high-paying ads.
